Mt. Huangshan
Mt. Huangshan covers an area of 250 kilometers, of which 154 square kilometers are scenic attractions. Its landscape features “four wonders” of imposing peaks, spectacular rocks, odd-shaped pines, and a sea of clouds. It is regarded as the “loveliest mountain” in China.

Why travel to Mt.Huangshan in Winter:
1. It is the perfect period to appreciate sea of clouds on Huangshan from November to February the next year;
2. Huangshan has less rain in winter, which offers greater chance to see the spectacular sunrise;
3. Huangshan snows a lot from November to February. If you want to check its snowy scenery, this is the best time. There won't be snow every day in winter, but generally speaking it will snow once there is cold wave.
4. Workers on the mountain clean the paths every day. So it won't be too slippery, even after heavy snowfall.

Travel Tips:
1. First of all, please make sure you take thick clothes with you, such as down jackets, gloves, scarves, warm shoes and other necessaries.
2. Huangshan snows a lot in winter. We suggest you buy skid-proof spikes. It is around RMB15 per pair. The spike shoes are worn outside your own shoes. Very convenient.
3. Stuff sold on Huangshan mountain is much more expensive than those in Huangshan city. It is reasonable to prepare some food or other necessity before you climb the mountain.
